# Advanced Additional Features

*<mark style="color:red;">**Advanced Users are required to set the P4Next back to Base at the end of their session:**</mark>*

* <mark style="color:purple;">Mic Settings > Low pass filter</mark>: **On** for all 4 mics
* <mark style="color:purple;">Mic Settings > Limiter</mark>: **On** for all 4 mics
* <mark style="color:purple;">System > Recorder Mode</mark>: **Multi Track**
* Make sure the "Input 4" switch is set to XLR
* Turn off Mix Minus&#x20;

## Recording Remote Guests:&#x20;

The P4Next can use your phone connected via a dongle (not provided) or your laptop to record a remote guest. Watch this video for more information:&#x20;

To toggle the mix minus mentioned in the video on or off, press the menu button then:

&#x20;<mark style="color:purple;">USB Audio Interface > Mix Minus > On / Off</mark>

## Recording for Mobile Video (Simpler Video Podcasting)

P4 Next can act as an audio interface that can be used live or recorded directly to your mobile phone's video system as described in the section of video below

Note: while the manual doesn't say explicitly, for recording directly to your phone for mobile video, using stereo, not multi-track, is likely more compatible with your phone apps.&#x20;
