# Basic Recorder Kit

This page will take you through the basic operation of the Zoom H1n, a simple and easy audio recorder that provides excellent audio recording quality.

The H1n can be used for voice over, recording interviews (just the interviewee), event recording, ambient recording, etc. It has two on-board mics allowing for true stereo recording. This reliable recording device is simple to operate, using common buttons like record, play, stop, etc. Please watch the following video:&#x20;
